Aero-tourism / Aviation
Aero-tourism is the concept of getting pilots and passengers from a local airport to surrounding areas of interest.
As home to the Wright Brothers, Ohio has long been known as the “Birthplace of Aviation.” According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, Ohio ranks third in the nation in paved, lighted general aviation airports. Ohio has 166 public use airports and nearly 11,000 registered aircraft.
